Overview
Oakfyn supported an e-commerce client in designing and implementing an automated finance reporting and data integration setup that connected the company's website and backend systems with its accounting and finance tooling. We delivered API-based automation architecture and automated monthly management reporting, reducing finance operating costs by enabling redeployment of two FTEs.

The client was scaling operations but relied heavily on manual extraction, reconciliation, and reporting with limited internal automation capabilities. Management required reliable monthly reporting with defined KPIs, delivered consistently without adding headcount, while improving data quality and reducing operational costs.
Solution
Oakfyn acted as the finance automation partner, mapping end-to-end data flows, implementing API-based integrations with accounting software including Zoho Books, and building an automated monthly management reporting pack with required KPIs. We reduced manual intervention through standardized data structures, validation rules, and exception handling routines.
